CENTRAL OFFICES -- Welcome to The NJS.com Audio Spotlight.
The Ramapo girls tennis team reached the Group 3 state tennis
final with a 3-2 win over Wall Township on Wednesday morning at
Mercer County Park. The Green Raiders swept the doubles matches
and got a win from freshman Amanda Muliawan to hand Wall its first
loss of the season.
'Sunshine' Richie Ballgame is at Mercer County Park covering
the action and, being the undustrious young (not so young) reporter
that he is, he tracked down, Mulaiwan, first doubles player Kerry
Irwin and senior captain Danielle Weiner for an improptu Audio
Spotlight.
The Green Raiders will play Millburn the defending overall state
champion in the final match or might already have if you are listening
to this after 5:00 p.m., but we have the sounds right after Ramapo
reached the final round.
